Terms of Service

NutriSave is a meal-planning and grocery-budgeting app for iOS, together with this website. These terms apply to both. If you do not agree with them, please don't use NutriSave.

You can use the app without an account. If you create one, keep your credentials secure — you're responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. You can delete your account at any time from inside the app.

This matters, so it gets its own section:

• Grocery prices in NutriSave are planning estimates derived from real U.S. grocery data. Actual prices vary by store, region, and time. Your receipt is the source of truth, not the app.
• Nutrition information (calories, macros) is estimated from ingredient data and standard portion assumptions. It can differ from what you actually cook and eat.
• Savings depend on your choices and circumstances. We make no promise that you will save a specific amount of money.

NutriSave provides general nutrition information for meal planning. It is not medical advice, and it is not a substitute for guidance from a physician or registered dietitian. If you have a medical condition, food allergy, or specific dietary requirement, verify ingredients yourself and consult a professional. While the app lets you exclude allergens and ingredients, always check product labels — recipe and ingredient data can contain errors.

• Don't attempt to breach, probe, or overload our systems.
• Don't reverse-engineer the app except where the law permits it.
• Don't use NutriSave to infringe anyone else's rights.

NutriSave, its design, and its content are owned by us or our licensors. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app on your Apple devices in line with Apple's usage rules. Your own data — your plans, lists, and preferences — remains yours.

The app relies on third-party data sources for recipes, nutrition, and pricing, and on the Apple App Store for distribution. Those services have their own terms, and we aren't responsible for their availability or accuracy.

NutriSave is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of $50 or the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

You can stop using NutriSave at any time. We may suspend or end access to the service if these terms are violated or if we discontinue the service, in which case we'll make reasonable efforts to provide notice.

We may update these terms as the service evolves. Material changes will be reflected in the date above and, where appropriate, announced in the app. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
