Privacy Policy
The short version: we collect as little as possible, we don't run ads, we never sell your data, and you can delete your account — and everything attached to it — from inside the app.

Who we are
This policy covers the NutriSave iOS application and the website at nutrisave.app (together, "NutriSave", "we", "us"). Questions about this policy can be sent to [email protected].
What we collect
You can use NutriSave without creating an account. In that case, your meal plans, grocery lists, and preferences are stored locally on your device and are not transmitted to us.
If you choose to create an account, we store:
- Your email address and an encrypted authentication credential, used to sign you in.
- Your app data — meal plans, grocery lists, dietary preferences, and settings — so it can sync across sign-ins.
- Feedback you voluntarily submit through the in-app feedback form, including an optional email address if you provide one.
What we don't do
- We do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone.
- We do not show ads or share your data with advertising networks.
- We do not collect your precise location.
- We do not use your data to train third-party AI models.
How your data is used
Data we store is used to operate NutriSave: generating your meal plans, syncing your data between devices, responding to support requests, and improving the app based on aggregate, non-identifying usage patterns.
Service providers
NutriSave runs on a small set of infrastructure providers that process data on our behalf — for hosting our backend and database (including account data and synced app data) and for retrieving recipe and nutrition information. These providers act under agreements that restrict their use of your data to providing their service to us.
Data retention and deletion
Account data is retained while your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from inside the app (Settings → Delete My Account). Deletion is immediate and removes your account, profile, meal plans, and saved lists from our systems. Local data can be removed by deleting the app from your device.
Security
Data in transit is encrypted with TLS. Access to production systems is restricted, and app data is protected by row-level access rules so one account can never read another's data.
Children
NutriSave is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes, we will update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
